Hey y’all hey!

I’m Latiera (pronounced Lah-tee-era).

In May 2022, shortly after celebrating my 30th birthday, I received a powerful prompting from the Holy Spirit.  I was nearing 4 years as a Big Law associate and was desperately seeking God’s voice on my career.  I was burnt out, unfulfilled and knew that I wasn’t living in God’s purpose for my life.  In my regular 5am prayer time, the Lord spoke, and from my fingers into the notes of my phone flowed the vision to found Living Beyond Our Dreams Foundation.  The Living Beyond Our Dreams Blog came shortly after. 

So, in January of 2023, I chose obedience. This looked like leaving behind my career in Big Law and founding Living Beyond Our Dreams Foundation shortly after. Since then, I have been on an unrelenting journey to break every chain hindering me from my true identity and find freedom. I believe that God gave me the Living Beyond Our Dreams Blog to take you on that journey with me and to encourage, uplift and inspire you along your own.  This blog is my humble submission to that assignment. 

My sincere prayer is that the words of my testimony may ignite a passion in you to break chains in your life and find freedom, purpose and joy as well.
